I was just turned onto the blog “Life After College” by Jenny Blake and I don’t think another post could describe how I feel about this love and relationship stuff I’m supposed to be feeling. As I said on my facebook yesterday: “I swear to God, every single person on this planet is a) engaged b) getting married c) going to a wedding or d) having babies. Apparently I jumped off the train about 5 years ago and a) have a lot of catching up to do or b) can continue to ignore it and keep riding that party train. On that note I’ll have another beer please.”
Now how long did it take for sf to get its own ‘oyster card?’ About time!!! If I’m not riding my bike I’m in love with my clipper card!

I am pretty much amazing today. Through trial and error, and a little copy and pasting, I’ve managed to insert my first image into my company web page with CSS/HTML. This is a screen shot of the image I a) created in a word document and b) successfully uploaded to the page.
I definitely have a lot more respect for engineers now that I’m working on my company website. It’s also so rewarding when it actually works and looks good!

I’ve finally succumbed to all things social media. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been an active facebook user since it was first started. I’ve also dabbled in blogging (www.travelblog.org/bloggers/casey-lary), LinkedIn, and Myspace, only to find that during job interviews there was too much info about me out there on the internet. I’ve kept off Twitter, Tumblr, Yelp, and Foursquare for protective purposes. But alas, I have succumbed to all of them now, realizing how useful and FUN they can be :-). Of course limitations are necessary- I have to leave some mystery out there!
I’ll admit that I’m pretty stoked to be back writing and documenting the events in my life. Stay tuned as I write and document all things that I’m passionate about: San Francisco, philanthropy, local happenings, travel, food, Asia, tech, sports, the outdoors, and the rest to be determined :-).
